Teh Soo Jin
Partner
Soo Jin’s practice focuses on dispute resolution and conveyancing matters.
Soo Jin has argued cases at all levels of civil courts involving a wide range of disputes including contractual disputes, employment disputes as well as land and tenancy disputes. Soo Jin also has vast experience in the practice area of defamation, divorce and family law and matters relating to Will, probate and estate administration, both contested or non-contested.
Soo Jin obtained her L.L.B (Hons) degree from University of Aberystwyth, Wales in 2009 and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2010. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2011. Soo Jin thereafter practiced in Messrs Shearn Delamore & Co from 2011 to 2017. Since 2018, she has taken on the role of managing our main office.
Soo Jin speaks English, Malay, Mandarin as well as dialects of Cantonese, Hakka and Hokkien.
Edward Yii Zi Chi

Edward Yii commenced his pupilage with Messrs Khaw & Partners and was called to the bar of the High Court of Malaya in 2012. He was also called to the bar of the High Court of Sabah & Sarawak in 2015. In September 2015, he joined and thereafter co-led the banking and general civil litigation department at Messrs Simon Hue & Associates. He joined Messrs Sia Boon Chee & Co in March 2023 and practices in the area of general and civil litigation.
Edward Yii speaks English, Malay, Mandarin as well as dialect of Hokkien.
Vijayakumar P Suppiah
Partner
Vijayakumar P Suppiah dedicated thirty (30) years of service to the Royal Malaysia Police Force before opting for early retirement having attained the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police. Following his retirement, he embarked on a legal journey, gaining admission to the Malaysian Bar in February 2007.
Vijayakumar joined Messrs Sia Boon Chee & Co in 2011 and has been leading and managing the Ipoh office since. He adeptly handles a diverse array of legal matters, including sale and purchase agreements, loan agreements, corporate affairs, as well as civil and criminal litigation.
Vijayakumar speaks English Malay, Tamil and Mandarin.
Ding Ngik Eng

Ding Ngik Eng, formerly a police officer who opted for early retirement, was granted admission to the Malaysian Bar in May 2006 and joined Messrs Sia Boon Chee & Co. She currently manages our Sitiawan office, bringing her expertise to the realm of criminal litigation. She also adeptly navigates through matters involving sales and purchase agreements as well as loan agreements.
Ding speaks English, Malay and Mandarin.
Chang Ying Ying

Ying Ying was admitted to the Bar in 2011. She commenced her pupilage with Messrs Tay Ibrahim & Partners before admission to the Malaysian Bar. She joined Messrs Sia Boon Chee & Co. as our associate in 2018. She handles sale and purchase agreements, loans agreements, corporate affairs, civil and criminal litigation.
